Solidarity in Prayer

What a wonderful experience — the Universal Church gathered in prayer!
This morning, as I prayed the rosary with the Visitation Sisters after Mass, it struck me that we were joining millions of other people all over the world, uniting with them in a common prayer for peace — in our hearts, in the hearts of others, and among nations.
How awesome to know that, with every prayer or sacrifice I offer today, I am helping to hasten the fulfillment of Christ’s passionate prayer, “that they may be one, Father, as You and I are one”!
